Indian soldier commits suicide in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR: An Indian soldier has committed suicide in Jammu district of Indian Occupied Kashmir on Friday.

The trooper of 19 Guards committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at Peer Baba, Chatha in the district. This raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops and police personnel to 242 since January 2007.

A police head constable, Ghulam Mohammad, was injured in an attack in Sopore town.

Meanwhile, two persons including a boy were killed and five others injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley while at least three more infants have died at the GB Pant Hospital in Srinagar.
